Assistant Brand Manager

The Assistant Brand Manager, Marketing is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the consumer marketing strategy to deliver the Americas Regional Business Plan. In this role, the Assistant Brand Manager will help with the development of consumer insights and branded solutions that support our brand positioning. Provide the consumer voice in the pursuit of a fully integrated consumer communication plan. This role will be involved in identifying and developing future innovation platforms and executing brand strategies in line with global directives. The Assistant Brand Manager, Marketing will work closely with global marketing teams to influence campaign development. The Assistant Brand Manager,Marketing will also be responsible with market teams on communication, guidance, and execution. This role will report to the Director, Brand Marketing AMERICAS.

Essential Functions:

Brand Marketing Leadership and Influence

* Must possess strong communication, relationship management and team building skills.
* Leads cross-functional teams to achieve the successful execution of global strategies and toolkit implementation. Ability to communicate effectively cross functionally. Team oriented.
* Highly collaborative working in global context.

Brand Development

* Steward of the PANDORA brand that supports our brand promise, vision, position, and architecture while achieving our overall business goals.
* Scale campaigns where appropriate and agreed upon with global.
* Help influence global strategy through staying abreast of market dynamics including competitive reviews, promotional environment, consumer habits, retail trends, etc.
* Align and ensure adherence of country/cluster priorities, go-to-market execution plans and spending to global brand and business objectives.
* Consolidate market dynamics and learnings from drop performance, etc., and leverage consumer insights across the region to provide the Marketing Board and Product with a fair picture of market performance.
* Develop creative guidelines and templates for local market initiatives that align with global strategy.
* Partner closely with the Americas Creative Team as our Regional Brand lead for all local requests and initiatives through our checklist process.

Consumer Advocate

* Develop deep understanding of consumer targets.
* Translate regional insights into actionable consumer-driven recommendations to influence global campaign development and market execution throughout the Americas.

Agency Interaction

* Lead day to day agency project and timeline management.
* Develop project or creative briefs that give focused direction to agency partners to scale and activate global campaigns that build brand equity and deliver results.
* Effectively manage agency interactions and relationships for assigned projects. Build relationship with account team to execute consumer-focused tactics.

Business Impact

* Able to integrate internal, external, primary and secondary data sources for a consistent cohesive strategy and message.
* Track, analyze, and report business results to ensure strategies are working and objectives are being realized.
* Evaluate and identify consumer insights to optimize business outcomes.
* Develop strong knowledge of cultural differences throughout global markets.

Educational Background: BA/BS or MA/MS/MBA

Field of Study: Marketing, Brand Management; MBA preferred

Experience: 3-5 yrs.

Industry: CPG; Retail; Luxury Goods

Job Specific:

* Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience in branded environment.
* Experience with consumer insight identification, cross functional team leadership, and agency interaction.
* CPG/ Retail experience is a plus.

* Passionate about driving brand growth by better meeting consumer needs.
* Balance of both analytic and creative skills. Must be able to analyze and summarize data.
* Must have proactive, entrepreneurial spirit with ability to take initiative and work independently or with a team.
* Must be organized, detail-oriented with unprompted follow through.
* Capable of managing multiple priorities in fast pace environment.
* Demonstrate positive energy to effectively represent brand internally and externally.
* Highly capable of writing/evaluating initiatives and communications briefs.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills

Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Language Skills: Spanish, French, or Portuguese is a plus.

Travel Required: Up to 15%
