We are looking to hire a Product Pricing Manager to act as the air freight product pricing representative in the respective district as an interface between Product and Sales. With expertise in standard Air Freight and Air Freight Consolidation Air Freight and Buyers Consolidation (BCO), the job holder is responsible to enable the company to arrange successful pricing proposals to Panalpina internal parties (Sales/Customer Service and RFQ Management).
- Being the interface for the district product organization for Ad-hoc pricing requests from Sales/Customer service as well as part of the pricing expert network around the globe and RFQs towards Air product, Tender Management (TM) and/or Corporate Air Freight RFQ Coordination (CORC)
- Ensuring that local charge as well as haulage tariffs are updated, available and competitive (in coordination with the district air freight product owner)

Responsibilities

Ad-hoc Quotation
• Interact with global pricing expert network to collect and gather pricing components in order to fulfill pricing requests
• Interact with pricing network around the globe, assisting to complete quotation parts falling into the country responsibility
• Make sure to follow pricing strategy of P+L owner and TLM
• Use expertise to challenge existing rates and standard charges
• Monitoring of pricing requests and being responsible for responding in time to fulfill quotation response KPI's
RFQ Quotation
• Provide most competitive and profitable rates to Tender Management (TM) and/or Corporate Air Freight RFQ Coordination (CORC) meeting expected terms and conditions set forth by customer or lead-team
• Review and manage pre-defined standard charges for key opportunities with strategic relevance
• Use expertise to challenge existing rates and standard charges
• Make sure to synchronize carrier related charge elements between country and regional air freight product management
Local Charge and Haulage Tariffs
• Safeguard that the respective tariff landscape is updated and available in pre-defined rate systems (in coordination with the country air freight product owner)
• Complete and make available specific charges not related to a standard transportation request (e.g. for fumigation)

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and in particular Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of SAP and CRM of advantage
