We are looking to hire a Tender & Pricing Coordinator to create customer proposals to enable business wins, support PP Canada Business Development Managers with pricing and provide information/data requested by clients

Responsibilities

* Ensure compliance with PAC /PP Tender Management process
* Analyze tender and distribute tasks to internal stakeholders, and review/validate information received from the internal stakeholders
* Oversee the entire process which includes the development of the response: format/pricing matrix/responding to queries as well as timely submission of RFI, RFP and RFQ to customers / bid owners
* Provide a quality proposal to the assigned bid owner and/or EPS offices for validation and submission to the client
* Analyze tenders and recommend optimum business solutions
* Support and maintain pricing database of transportation rates logistics/distribution rates
* Maintain tender data profiling and records, including the update of monthly bid log and completed tenders
* Support market intelligence on competitors pricing, capabilities, facilities, client base, products and services for competition analysis
* Assist Business Development Managers with front end sales efforts and pricing requests
* Main point of contact for PP Global offices for all pricing related to Canada
* Create, monitor, maintain and update all documents related to bid tenders (i.e. resumes, process flow plans, SOP's, org charts)

Qualifications

* Minimum of 3 years of freight forwarding experience
* Pricing experience, an asset
* CIFFA or equivalent education, an asset

* Proficient in MS Office applications, in particular WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT
* Knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics
* Complete understanding of PA and EPS (strategy, products and solutions) and external vendors
* Basic business administration competence
* Knowledge about markets and competitors
* Knowledge about trends and challenges for the industry
* Understanding of business principles and language, incl. the fundamentals of finance and profitability
* Basic sales knowledge
