We are looking to hire a Panalpina Delegate - Guyana to:

Leverage our Agent relationship in Guyana by driving International Logistics business development in close cooperation with the Agent by building up market know-how in order to provide competitive offerings of solutions on behalf of the Panalpina Network.

The primary purpose(s) of this role are:

* Confirm market competitive pricing from our Agent
* Pro-actively drive the development of Panalpina Strategic Key Account business and support the development of the Panalpina Corporate Key Accounts
* Foster the trade lane development with a strong focus on the strategic trade-lanes as defined by Panalpina Corporate Marketing & Sales and Corporate Product
* Develop and foster customer relationships and provide best in class customer service within the country
* Optimize the transactions, increase revenues and manage costs related to International Logistics business


* Advise the Agents Marketing & Sales teams to meet and exceed the defined growth, profitability and productivity objectives linked to Panalpina network business

* Support and Drive the growth of the Panalpina Global Key Accounts (GKA), Country Key Accounts
* Drive Agent alignment to Panalpina Industry Vertical and Tender Management set up and processes and thus support the achievement of the Product growth targets for Panalpina via the Agent
* Ensure the execution of the pipeline management and sales excellence processes within the Agent operation, including the adequate set up and coordinated approach between the different sales channels (trade lane development, Products/IV/solution selling, CKA/field sales)
* Understand and ensures adherence to Panalpina Quality Policies, Standards and Guidelines (according to ISO 9'001, ISO 14'001 and ISO 18'001 certification) and ensures compliance to processes and procedures set in Panalpina IMS
* Ensure strict adherence to Panalpina Code of Conduct

* Be the single point of contact for any inquires for Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago
* Undertake reviews on performance and development with the local Agent
* Secure feedback reports to Regional Head of Energy & Project Solutions, RH M&S and or RCEO about Agent/Country International Logistics performance and the market conditions
* Update Panalpina Internal tools and Systems (eg: CRM, etc.)
* Build and update an International Logistics KPI Overview for Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago on a regular monthly basis
* Develop and expand customer relationships
* Ensure a regular and consistent information flow to the Regional Management

Quality, Health, Safety & Environment

* Perform assigned tasks to support Panalpina meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety and environment as documented in IMS and follow all requirements as set out in the QHSE policy
* It is the responsibility of all staff to ensure that their day to day activities embrace sustainability/Health and safety therefore reducing the impact upon the environment, supporting the communities we work in and reducing incidents in the workplace
* Other duties as assigned


* Advanced functional & operational know-how of global and project forwarding within the Oil & Gas industry
* Comprehensive understanding of Panalpina (strategy and products)
* Expert industry and market knowledge (customers, competitors, air & ocean freight rates/services)
* Proficient knowledge of business finance & sound management practices
* Proficient knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics models, practices, application and operations
* Expert developing proposals, customer supply programs and pricing strategies
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Finance or directly relevant discipline, Master's Degree preferred
* Working experience (minimum 8 years) in Oil & Gas or Projects
* Residential experience in emerging markets
* International experience in LATAM preferred
