Department Overview PG&E's Electric organization is focused on
delivering safe and reliable electricity to our
customers. As a whole, Electric is responsible for all aspects of PG&E's electric
distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and
construction, restoration
and emergency response.

Position Summary The Engineering Rotation Development Program, Electric, is a 12-18 month rotation
program that provides engineers an opportunity to gain meaningful engineering experience in up to
departments within Electric focused on improving PG&E's large network of
electric transmission and distribution pipelines.
Engineers will have the option to apply for associate level engineering positions after the second
rotation or to complete a
third rotation to gain experience in an additional department.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates will be receiving a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent May 2014 - August 2016

- Must have a valid driver's license or obtain one at least 30 days prior to start date.
Desired Qualifications:
- Completed coursework in Electrical Engineering with a power emphasis: Power Systems
Analysis, Transmission Lines, System
Protection/ Substations, and other related courses
- Strong communications, initiative, and teamwork
- Work experience or internships in utilities, power industry, or other power related fields
PG&E typically is unable to provide VISA sponsorship
to students on an F-1, J-1 or other student

Responsibilities With six months in each rotation,
participants will have enough time to learn about the rotational
department and contribute to the department's success. Engineers can expect to work in various
locations across PG&E's service territory. Participants will rotate into two or three
listed below:
- Electric Transmission Planning
- Electric Transmission Operations
- Electric Transmission Lines
- Electric Distribution Planning
- Electric Distribution Operations
- Electric Substations
- Electric Asset Management
