Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Actively involved in various month-end financial close processes, including journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
  • Perform financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Process payments and transactions for PACCAR Corporate and related entities 
  • Process employee expense reports, including review for proper documentation and manage third party travel expenses 
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research, and make corrections of discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly intercompany transactions 
  • Assist with the PC purchase, tuition reimbursements, corporate credit card and relocation programs’ accounting 
  • Assist with the accounting activities of the PACCAR Foundation and the Paul Pigott Scholarship Fund, as well as the corporate assets 
  • Participate in year-end closing activities as assigned
  • Special projects as assigned by the Accounts Payable Supervisor and/or Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts
  • Intermediate MS Excel (charts, pivot tables, vlookups, etc)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Deadline oriented and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to research and problem solve
  • Positive attitude and “can-do” approach to issue resolution
  • SAP experience desired.

Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting
  • 1-3 years related experience prefered
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with co-workers and others
  • Desire to develop leadership and technical skills; pursue advancement opportunities within the company
  • CPA eligible/working towards CPA certification desired
