Division Information

PACCAR Parts

PACCAR Parts operates a network of parts distribution centers offering aftermarket support to Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF dealers and customers around the world. Aftermarket support includes customer call centers operating 24 hours a day throughout the year and technologically advanced systems to enhance inventory control and expedite order processing.

Requisition Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining a library of market information, updating reports and providing analyses as required.  Maintains and manages the MapInfo mapping system to provide support for potential new dealer locations.  Supervises the Dealer Expansion Co-op Funds program by working directly with dealerships to document justification for dealership expansion funding.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Maintains and analyzes data provided by MacKay, ACT Research, ATA and other info providers.
  • Distributes market info and news to internal distribution lists.
  • Develops expertise and becomes the power user of MapInfo mapping software, supporting several other less-frequent locations.
  • Prepares maps and reports of parts potential in support of Truck Division Dealer Development analyses and proposals.
  • Supervises operations of the Dealer Expansion Co-op Funds Program, including program definition, dealership enrollments, correspondence, and claims.  Processes requests for funds and maintain records for internal control and audit.
  • Perform special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or related field required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.  Microsoft Access proficiency desired.
  • Ability to learn new computer software programs quickly required.
  • Strong customer service communication skills (verbal, written) required.
  • Strong presentation skills desired.
  • Knowledge of PACCAR Parts or dealership operations through previous employment experience desired.
  • Tableau experience desired.
