Kenworth Truck Company

Kenworth Truck Company is the manufacturer of The World's Best® heavy and medium duty trucks. Supports updates to Chillicothe Chassis backlog due to Engineering or System changes.  Drives and supports Resident Engineering continuous improvement projects.




  • Coordinates Chillicothe Bill of Material, Selection, and Model updates related to new Product Implementations; Material and Supplier requests; Error corrections; or continuous improvement projects.
  • Interprets Design documents (ECN's) and drawings for creation/revision of BOM's or models.
  • Drives, coordinates, and supports continuous improvement initiatives related to process improvements within Resident Engineering.
  • Coordinates user input and training related to continuous improvement projects.
  • Provides feedback to Division groups and other PACCAR production facilities on Bill of Material, Engineering rule or model issues.  Coordinates backlog correction efforts.
  • Provides mentorship and facilitates communication on backlog clean up strategies; Bill of Materials and model questions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.




  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Sound communication skills (written and oral)
  • Working knowledge of CAD programs (preferably ProE)
  • Ability to review and interpret engineering documentation including: ECN's, BMR's, engineering drawings, etc.
  • Experience with CICS/Mainframe/Copics system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite




  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Working knowledge of selection logic, chassis system, and Kenworth change management
  • Preferable possessing two years with PACCAR
  • Previous automotive and/or manufacturing experience/product knowledge preferred
