Job Description

Job Functions / Responsibilities


  • Will ensure proper procedures are followed and develop and or adjust procedures as required to increase inventory accuracy and maintain PACCAR standards.
  • Ensure Bill of Materials & Bill of Process/Routing integrity in SAP.
  • Analyze and correct back flushing issues related to control cycles or concessions.
  • Process any back flushing entries related to milestone errors.
  • Create Forecast BOMS for new engine models.
  • Review for new parts loading to SAP from Team Center and coordinate gathering of required master data across functional teams ensuring timely enter of required data elements into SAP.
  • Ensures daily transaction reliability.
  • Liaison with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure Master Data integrity. 
  • Support Warehouse Management team with any Master Data issues.
  • Interfaces with Materials managers on root cause analysis of inventory issues.
  • Coordinate with Quality and materials handling to resolve any part revision level issues that may result in unnecessary diversion of parts for QA review.

    Qualifications & Skills


  • Working knowledge and two (2) years minimum experience with SAP IM/WM modules a requirement.
  • Computer literacy with one (1) year experience is required with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work flexible work schedule - Shift may need to be earlier from time-to-time to communicate with European Union supply base.
  • Candidate must be able to operate independently and with little guidance.
  • Must be a positive contributor to a team environment required
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a working knowledge of advanced systems and basic database relationships
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, well organized, flexible and able to handle the pressure of a high-volume operation
  • Ability to stay organized and effective time management are critical to role.
  • Must be good at succinctly defining issues and bringing them quickly to resolution.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
