Division Information

Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in Algona, WA. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck divisions and PACCAR Parts service parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities in Algona, WA, Louisville, KY and Plano/McKinney, TX.

Requisition Summary

Dynacraft is expanding operations by adding a third production facility in the Dallas, TX area. We are looking for an Application and Infrastructure Support Analyst to focus on IT Infrastructure startup of the new facility including planning and managing the plant build out, installing Network and Server equipment, and configuring and deploying program specific equipment.


The position’s ongoing role is to provide technical support for critical applications and services such as SharePoint Services, engineering systems, time and attendance, and quality and data collection systems. In addition this role will provide administrative and technical support for division intranet and internet pages, and provide technical support for PC, LAN, WAN, telephone, and network security infrastructure. The position is responsible for resolving Dynacraft systems requirements and maintaining infrastructure and applications in accordance with PACCAR, central IT organization and division policies and standards.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users for shop floor and other business applications
  • Participate in the installation and testing of network hardware, software, and cabling
  • Provide second level support for network and infrastructure issues
  • Assist with configuration, deployment and maintenance of network hardware devices including servers, PC’s and thin-client devices
  • Provide second level support for .NET applications
  • Support configuration and maintenance of security software and updates
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Incident Reports (IRs) and Service Requests (SRs)
  • Provide technical support for SharePoint, intranet and internet services
  • Assist with maintenance of division hardware and software inventory

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server, SCCM, and other PACCAR approved technologies desirable
  • A good understanding of Windows networking and operating systems including web protocols, WINS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, DFS, AD, virtualization, storage and replication
  • A working knowledge of SQL, .NET, and SSIS Packages is desirable
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and strong customer support orientation
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible work schedule
  • Manufacturing and/or distribution experience preferred
  • Experience with troubleshooting RF equipment preferred
  • Ability to crawl under/over spaces, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Previous experience building PC’s and Hardware preferred
