Division Information

PACCAR Parts

PACCAR Parts operates a network of parts distribution centers offering aftermarket support to Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF dealers and customers around the world. Aftermarket support includes customer call centers operating 24 hours a day throughout the year and technologically advanced systems to enhance inventory control and expedite order processing.

Requisition Summary

The Global Aftermarket Programs Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, qualifying and implementing best cost country sourced (BCC) product programs.

Relocation assistance available. 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new best cost country (BCC) sourced product program opportunities
  • Develop and manage product validation processes
  • Develop logistics solutions, including packaging, labeling and international shipping strategies
  • Identify and implement risk mitigation strategies using six sigma tools
  • Execute successful launches of new BCC sourced product programs
  • Interface with BCC suppliers to meet program objectives
  • Manage other elements of new and existing BCC-sourced product programs
  • Travel Internationally (typically Asia) to evaluate and develop new and current BCC-sourced product programs

Qualifications

  • Four year college degree with an emphasis in International Business or Engineering, MBA desired
  • Knowledge of truck components, aftermarket sales and parts distribution.
  • Knowledge of engineering concepts.
  • Deep cultural knowledge of India or China & appropriate language skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong research, analysis and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead in a team-oriented, multi-functional business environment. 
  • Prior commercial experience
  • Prior supplier quality experience
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
