Division Information

PACCAR Parts

PACCAR Parts operates a network of parts distribution centers offering aftermarket support to Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF dealers and customers around the world. Aftermarket support includes customer call centers operating 24 hours a day throughout the year and technologically advanced systems to enhance inventory control and expedite order processing.
 

Requisition Summary

Provides Human Resources support to PACCAR Parts managers and employees. Leads specific programs and projects related to Recruitment and Talent Management, Training and Leadership Development, Engagement, Rewards and Retention, and Organizational and HR Effectiveness.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Recruitment and Talent Management:

  • Coordinates and supports the division’s performance appraisal process
  • Administers new-hire onboarding including orientation and new employee passport program
     

Training and Development:

  • Coordinates division's annual training plan including facilitation of training for employees
  • Administers and supports adherence to compliance training programs

 

Engagement, Rewards and Retention:

  • Supports positive employee relations and engagement through safety and wellness programs, compensation reviews, survey analysis, benefits communications and recognition programs
  • Administers the separation and retirement process
  • Assists with coordinating multiple employee events including employee luncheons and Annual Service Award Banquet
     

Organizational and HR Effectiveness:

  • Administers the division's Leave of Absence programs including FMLA, STD and Worker's Compensation
  • Administers the division’s Safety and OSHA compliance programs
  • Backup support for payroll processing
  • Participates in division and Company-wide Six Sigma projects
  • Participates in global HR continuous improvement initiatives. Leverages existing technology in new and creative ways
  • Participates in development and execution of departmental goals and objectives
  • Partner with managers on performance management, workplace investigations and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare presentations including quarterly all employee meeting
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • Four year degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years Human Resources experience
  • Must have a working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Affirmative Action Plans and Worker’s Compensation
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong PC skills; Excel, PowerPoint and Word required, SAP and Access   
     

Preferred:

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation experience
  • MBA or Master’s degree
  • PHR/SHRM-CP or  SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification
  • Six Sigma training/certification
