Requisition Summary

This position contributes to the success of PACCAR by assisting with the development and implementation of training programs which support business initiatives and goals. This key individual reports to the Director of Training and Leadership Development and is responsible for coordination and administration of the training and leadership development programs. This role will also enhance and improve internal training sites and processes through the use of technology and collaboration.


Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage course scheduling, logistics and registration processes for Corporate Training and Leadership Development Programs.
  • Create and deliver program communication materials: course catalogs, invitations, promotional messages to participants, trainers and others.
  • Develop the content and functionality of the Corporate Training intranet site, maximizing it to extend learning beyond the classroom and to promote training opportunities.
  • Record SAP trainings and run special reports.
  • Develop and maintain relevant SharePoint sites.
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports using SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Responsible for program specific budget processes including cross-charges, purchase requisitions, invoice process, and expense tracking.
  • Phone coverage and special projects.
  • Support technology-based training solutions. Participate in the evaluation, selection and implementation of corporate e-learning.
  • Set up for trainings (room, handouts, refreshments, schedules, communications, etc.)
  • Special projects to support corporate programs (i.e.; health fairs, intern and fundraising events, moral and engagement activities)

The duties for this position are:

  • 70% Administrative Support and Event Coordination;
  • 30% SharePoint / Web Site Development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of related experience..
  • Advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills, including graphics.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Aptitude for applying technology in new ways to improve processes.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality while working with sensitive information.
  • Willingness to leverage, collaborate and plan with colleagues across PACCAR.
  • Strong technical skills in SharePoint and SAP highly preferred.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field required.
