Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an immediate opening for a Technical Support Specialist for the Peterbilt SmartLINQ remote diagnostics and other driver uptime and efficiency technologies. The position will support dealer and customer questions and training, manage customer SmartLINQ profiles, ADHOC reporting, data analysis, and provide input to future system and product development to enhance the performance of these services.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Represent Peterbilt to the dealer network on behalf of SmartLINQ. Serve as a Liaison between dealers and multiple Peterbilt departments. Provide customer service to dealers through incoming/outgoing calls, e-mails, and SupportLINK cases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, multitask, and work effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience using MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access, and Tableau for the purpose of reading, manipulating and analyzing data.
  • Dealer training onsite and/or webinars
  • Support conferences and trade shows
  • Manage SmartLINQ customer profiles, activations, and communication
  • SmartLINQ data analysis
  • Customer Metrics for Field Service and Sales
  • Provide guidance for best practices with SmartLINQ
  • Provide feedback for future enhancements to PACCAR Solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good customer service skills with proven ability to deal rationally with customers in difficult situations
  • Good organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize multiple assignments and still being able to follow up on open topics/assignments
  • Self-starter who is effective working under limited supervision.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift
  • Strong presentation skills

Qualifications

  • Experience servicing customers or dealers preferred..  
  • Bilingual (Spanish or French) a plus but not required.

     

     

Education

Bachelor's Degree or actively pursuing one is preferred
