Requisition Summary

The eCommerce Manager (EM) leads the development and implementation of PACCAR Parts eCommerce strategy.

Division Information


PACCAR Parts operates a network of parts distribution centers offering aftermarket support to Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF dealers and customers around the world. Aftermarket support includes customer call centers operating 24 hours a day throughout the year and technologically advanced systems to enhance inventory control and expedite order processing.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in the growth and expansion of eCommerce by working with third party solution providers to develop market leading platforms to OPC.
  • Perform project management activities, including active mitigation of any risks to the project scope and schedule, and providing status updates.
  • Coordinate resources from Sales, Marketing and IT in the design and delivery of eCommerce processes and templates.
  • Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users, service organizations, vendors and business partners.
  • Drive the adoption of a Content Management system to manage eCommerce related data.
  • Manage relationships with third-party eCommerce solution providers.
  • Assist dealers in the adoption and growth of PACCAR Parts eCommerce solutions.
  • Maintain strategic roadmap for eCommerce planning and development.
  • Understanding emerging industry and technology trends and leveraging this knowledge to guide the application of technology solutions to improve and transform eCommerce solutions.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A four-year degree in Business, Information Technology or related field (Master’s degree highly preferred)
  • Seven or more years of professional experience with a track record of increasing responsibility
  • Two or more years of successful leadership / supervisory experience
  • Prior cross-functional team management experience required
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering solutions and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven experience managing geographically diverse teams and/or teams in a matrix organization
  • Ability to creatively solve challenging business and/or technology problems
