Job Description

Warranty Analyst / Next Generation Warranty System

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the planning and implementation of project
  • Assist with refining and clarifying  design requirements, user stories, goals and deliverables
  • Help define project tasks and resource requirements for data requirements
  • Coordinate and collect pertinent project requirements as assigned
  • Plan and schedule team deliverables to project timelines
  • Track team deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide support to project team
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the team deliverables to project stakeholders
  • Present reports defining team progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Flexibility in adapting to changes of business requirements
  • Establish guidelines for data consistency across all 4 Divisions
  • Establish common processes and claim coding across all 4 divisions
  • 25% processing claims

Experience

  • SME (Subject Matter Expert) in warranty claims processing and supplier recovery
  • Experience operating within deadlines to meet program objectives

Education requirements

  • BS/BA required or a minimum of 3 years of truck production, order processing, or sales administration experience or diesel mechanic certification required
  • 2+ industry related experience required
  • Must have strong communication and negotiation skills; proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access;  good recall of detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Must be self-motivated and able to accept responsibility for assigned projects, working under general supervision
