Requisition Summary

Performs a wide variety of complex electrical / electronic / mechanical installation and maintenance work on facility and production equipment.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Must have a working knowledge of Solid State as well as Integrated Circuit System design.
  • Performs a wide variety of complex electrical / electronic / mechanical duties to troubleshoot, repair, and or replace components associated with facility and production equipment.
  • Capable of trouble shooting, installing, and programming a variety of industry standard Programmable Logic Controllers including IDEC and Allen Bradley ControlLogix, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, SLC 500, and PLC-5 Control Systems.
  • Must be familiar with writing Allen Bradley RSLogix and RSView Control Software.
  • Capable of trouble shooting, installing, and programming a variety of industry standard Variable Frequency Drives and Ethernet Control devices.
  • Capable and familiar with trouble shooting, installing, and repairing 480 volt 3-phase electrical circuits and components and working with both AC and DC control voltage circuits.  Must be able to trouble shoot 0 to 10 volt and 4-20 ma control signal circuits and components.
  • Performs trouble shooting, repair, and replacement of components on production equipment with complex hydraulic systems up to 10,000 psi.
  • Capable of acting in a leader-ship role when working with other Maintenance personnel in the absence of a manager.
  • Plans, lays out, orders components, and installs electrical wiring and circuits according to local and national electrical codes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Graduation from high school supplemented by appropriate technical school training and / or an Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology.  Three – five years of related industrial experience.  Preferably possessing two years with PACCAR.
