PACCAR Winch

The brands that comprise PACCAR Winch Division include Braden, Carco, and  Gearmatic. Braden's history began in 1924 with the Braden Steel Corporation located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Braden originally supplied equipment for the oil field that included drive heads for popping shallow wells, Glenn Braden's close involvement with oil production and the automobile entering the American industrial age coincided in 1927 where he introduced the first Braden truck mounted winch designed for unloading and positioning loads in the oil field. 

PACCAR Winch in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma has an opening for a Six Sigma Black Belt.  This person acts as the change agents for process and quality improvement. They are responsible for deploying Six Sigma quality concepts and tools across our business and for integrating Six Sigma quality into our business processes. They manage risk, set direction and lead the way to breakthrough improvements in product and process quality.

Duties are as follows:

  • Apply Six Sigma tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects and waste.
  • Provide analysis and feedback to senior management on project activities, improvements, and savings. Overseeing process improvement projects.
  • Help develop and lead cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvement plans. Identify process improvement opportunities and quantify results and trends.
  • Mentor and support Black/Green/Lean Belts.
  • Transfer best practices, techniques, procedures and tools to peers and other process improvement teams.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvement plans. 
  • Assist with formal Six Sigma training, which may include the development of material, identification of appropriate candidates, and organization of class logistics.
  • Other duties as assigned
