About Pabco Gypsum

Providing quality products and service since 1972, PABCO Gypsum is one of the leading manufacturers of wallboard in the United States. A division of the newly formed PABCO Building Products LLC, PABCO Gypsum is a part of the companies that make up Pacific Coast Building Products, one of the nation's leading, privately held suppliers of building products and services to the construction industry. Pacific Coast Building Products has more than 3,000 employees and sales in excess of 900 million dollars annually. PABCO Gypsum began manufacturing and shipping from its Newark, California facility in 1972. Five years later, PABCO expanded with the acquisition of a gypsum board plant and gypsum quarry north of Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1998 and 2005, the Las Vegas plant was expanded and modernized and now these two facilities combined supply over 1.65 billion annual square feet of gypsum board. PABCO also owns and operates a gypsum face and back paper mill in Vernon, California. That mill was acquired in 1984 and modernized and expanded in concert with PABCO's wallboard production increases. The mill can produce 3.3 billion square feet annually which is enough to supply all PABCO's needs. The complete line of gypsum board products is used in virtually all types of construction from residential to high-rise structures. From the beginning, quality has been the foundation of PABCO Gypsum. To ensure this quality, PABCO® Paper, supplies customized face and back paper for PABCO's gypsum board. Underwriters Laboratories Inc. provides the required third party inspection service for all of PABCO's fire-rated products and UL Classified labels are stamped on the back of each panel. A customer group with an established network of building materials outlets, provides availability of PABCO products as well as other regions in the United States. Our PABCO Gypsum sales staff, supported by technical services, stand as a team ready to help in the selection of PABCO Gypsum products and systems for your next project.
