$8,000 for RNs with 3 years' nursing experience, requires a 2 year work commitment

The inpatient registered professional nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab is responsible for

providing quality nursing care while contributing to a quality work environment. A

significant portion of the Cath lab population is adult between 30 and 80 years of age. The RN functions as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team approach to meet the needs of the Cardiac Cath lab patient population. On Call response time of less than 30 minutes required.


BSN or actively enrolled in a BSN program with completion within 5 years of start with OSF.

Must show proof of enrollment or acceptance letter from College for the current/next semester.

Validating documents must be shown at time of interview.

1 year of RN experience or completion of an RN Residency program.

Current Illinois RN License (or license pending for new grads).

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS CPR or approved equivalent (must include infant through adult, one and two-man rescuer, use of AED, and choking with hands-on

CPR skills return demonstration, and must be pre-approved by Org Dev/Human Resources) completed prior to employment. ACLS required within 6 months of completing orientation.


Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
