Job Description

Purpose and Job Summary

ORIX USA is seeking an Audit Intern to provide support for the Internal Audit team at ORIX USA. This position will be located in our Dallas, Texas headquarters. This Intern will meet expected to meet deadlines corresponding to business needs, work professionally and harmoniously with teams and coworkers, and fulfill all of the essential duties and responsibilities listed below.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Assists with routine audit/SOX work including pulling support, scanning testwork/support, uploading documents into TeamMate.
* Assists with administrative duties - procurement/payment entry, assisting with report preparation and editing, assisting with scheduling meetings.
* Perform basic audit/SOX testing.
* Provides assistance to a department head and department members including domestic and international travel
* Processes and tracks expense reports
* Maintains good relationships with internal managers and employees as well as external clients and others doing business with OUC
* Other related duties as assigned

This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and managers. In addition, this role may interact with outside business partners and vendors.

Education, Skills, & Experience

* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office and other specialized technology as required
* Deadline driven with strong attention to detail
* Learns quickly and independently
* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
* Excellent quantitative, analytical, and mathematical skills
* Ability to adjust priorities in a rapidly changing environment
* Skilled in being a motivated, self-starter and team player
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of records and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities
* Professional business image and excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing (spelling, grammar, and punctuation)
