Job Description

Position Title:

Video Editor

Rate of Pay : $15.25 per hour

Position Purpose:

Assist and create a variety of audio and video content. This is a temporary/seasonal job cannot exceed 119 days.

Essential Functions:

* Create and build short clips for internal and external usage.
* Chop and clean up footage stored in the OC Fair & Event Center (OCFEC) library.
* Organize the OCFEC library.
* Build motion graphics for needed content.
* Render videos for cross platform use; social media.
* Gather stock video and audio content.
* Music editing a plus.
* Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs.

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
* Proficient in Final Cut Pro, Adobe; After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
* Strong knowledge of Strong knowledge of Mac OS systems and applications.
* Detailed oriented.
* Ability to successfully handle and prioritize multiple tasks required.
* Excellent teamwork skills required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to climb ladders up to12' high, ride in man-lifts up to approximately 40' high, and climb on top of ticket booths/structures approximately 8-12' high. The employee must occasionally lift overhead and/or move up to 30 lbs.

This position will work both indoors and outdoors during all types of weather, and requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to climb ladders and be willing to clean equipment and get dirty. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, however louder noise levels may be experienced during outdoor events and when in larger event buildings.
