About Us

Job Description

The Communication, Arts & Media Department is currently looking for highly qualified Social Media Adjunct Faculty.

The Social Media Management course integrates management, marketing, communications, and technology to demonstrate industry best practices in social media management. This course covers a wide range of areas including social media's role in crisis management, customer service, product marketing, nonprofit development, and reputation management.

Duties

Requirements

The instructor will be versed in a wide range of social media platforms and analytical tools, and the extent to which they can be utilized in an integrated marketing communications model.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in related field required (communication, journalism, marketing, or management preferred).

Experience working with popular social media monitoring tools (e.g., Google, Radian 6, Twitter Search, Social Mention, Traackr, etc) and popular social media management tools (TweetDeck, HootSuite, etc).

Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.

Desired: Working knowledge of SEO/SEM, website management and/or video content development.

Professional record of accomplishments in for-profit and/or nonprofit environments with demonstrated communications management skill.
