Job Description

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:

* Provide adult and adolescent individual, family, and group therapy to assigned consumers on his/her caseload in a school and/or office based setting
* Provide case management as needed
* Provide detailed documentation of all clinical activities
* Complete biopsychosocial assessments for assigned consumers
* Develop comprehensive treatment plans that are goal directed, measurable, and achievable
* Provide individual, family and/or group therapy sessions to assigned consumers
* Evaluates individual consumer needs, interests and response to treatment
* When applicable, recommends and makes appropriate referrals to other programs within and outside the agency
* Completes all program documentation forms including incident reports
* Attends all scheduled supervision sessions with immediate supervisor
* Coordinates and attends case conferences
* Attends meetings and as requested by director
* Other duties as deemed necessary

Technical Competencies: Help to maintain a strong clinical program. Work collaboratively with other staff to meet the needs of those served. Interact with referral sources to facilitate prompt, effective services for the client. Interact cooperatively with professional liaisons, supporting ongoing marketing and referral communications. Complete required training and mandatory training hours. Maintain client confidentiality and support the provision of a safe therapeutic experience. Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations, knowledge of facility contracts and agreements, Knowledge of medical and clinical terminology, Knowledge of composition of medical records, Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, Knowledge of Release of Information and Confidentiality, Knowledge of DSM IV and DSM V, Knowledge of commercial, MA and county, funding sources.

Education, Experience:

Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Sociology, or other human services clinical concentration. Experience providing counseling & therapy (internships/externships included) in a clinical setting. PA Licensed Professional Counselor or PA Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred but not required. Bilingual English and Spanish speaking therapist preferred but not required.
