Job Description

OVERVIEW

ONEOK is seeking college students who are interested in Human Resource Management careers for an internship in the Summer of 2020. Interested candidates should be pursuing a major in one of the following areas: Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Data Science and Analytics, or related degrees.

If you are currently a student at Oklahoma Sate who is pursuing a degree in any of the fields listed above and are interested in an internship opportunity with ONEOK, please submit to this job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Internships will include real-world projects that are designed to have a meaningful impact on the business. Interns will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects and work alongside experienced professionals at our ONEOK Corporate Headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Project assignments will vary based on current business needs and critical skills. Projects may include:

* Benefits, personnel research/statistics, government Reports, developmental training, and employment documentation administration


* Analysis of HR data includes recruiting, benefits, compensation and organizational development
* Ability to process, design and analyze large volumes of data to deliver recommendations to the business related to human capital needs




* Data analysis
* Ability to generate new reports and integrate data from multiple, disparate systems into reports to produce meaningful business analytics


* Collect and track human capital data for use in business intelligence


* Ensure high quality and accuracy of reporting




* Manage the development and distribution of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports


* Identify and recommend process and procedure efficiencies



The Human Resources Intern will also have the opportunity to attend various "lunch and learns" to learn from senior leadership about the overall business/operational structure of ONEOK.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Preference for junior or senior-level students majoring in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Data Science and Analytics, or related degrees.


* Preference for minimum GPA above 3.0


* Prior work experience (internships, summer or part-time work while attending school, etc.) as well as involvement in extracurricular or community support activities.


* Expert in Excel, Word, PPT


* Experience with Access and business intelligence software preferred


* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite


* Ability to work independently, to collaborate within a team, and to facilitate key relationships with stakeholders


* Ability to conduct research, analyze, and prepare information and reports including numerical data, procedures, and correspondence


* Demonstrated leadership abilities


* Strong desire to learn and contribute


* Strong verbal and written communication skills


* Ability to translate and present complex data to customers


* Listen to customers to identify data and reporting needs
