Job Summary:

We are seeking a self-driven and motivatedengineering professional to join our Mixed Signal Product Development Team,located in Lindon, Utah. This internship will provide the opportunity towork closely with an engineering mentor and team in developing and using skillsto provide a wide variety of energy efficient integrated circuit solutions forour customers.

Performance Objectives:

The successful candidate will participate in some of the followingdevelopment activities:

* Mixed-signalVLSI design and verification.
* Digitalemphasis: Design implementation using RTL coding, synthesis, ATPG,and static timing analysis.
* Analogemphasis: Transistor level circuit design and simulation of analogblocks in Cadence.
* Mixed-signalinterface design and debugging.
* Siliconevaluation (bench testing).
* Local candidates only
* Pursuingan undergraduate or graduate Electrical Engineering degree.
* Someexposure to digital, analog, or mixed-signal circuit design andverification.
* Digitalemphasis:
* Logic synthesis, DFT, ATPG, and STA skills.
* Knowledge of the Verilog language (VHDL a plus).
* Knowledge of Linux and some scripting languages (e.g.Perl, shell, tcl, etc).
* Experience with test pattern generation and/or FPGAprototyping, a plus.
* Analogemphasis:
* Transistor level circuit design skills (op amps,comparators and common analog building blocks).
* Knowledge of Cadence and Linux tools and environments.
* Experience designing voltage regulators, dataconverters, oscillators, charge pumps, etc., a plus.
* Experience with VerilogA, Monte Carlo, XRC, and/orSpectreVerilog, a plus.
* Fluencyin written and oral communication in the English language.
