what this role calls for

* Gather industry trends, brand health data, and competitive data for business market analysis.
* Under supervision, design survey drafts and create draft client presentations.
* Work with research vendors to ensure campaigns are adequately tracked for third-party ad effectiveness studies.
* Participate in campaign test & learn initiatives by applying concepts of experimental design to help answer clients' business questions.
* Analyze data using crosstabs and statistical analysis (T-tests, Z-tests, ANOVA, etc.).
* Visualize results in tables and graphs using Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

what you bring

* Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Economics, Social Science, Behavioral Science, Cognitive Science, or Business/Marketing related fields.
* At least 1 year of industry experience in a quantitative data-driven field (new graduates will also be considered depending on educational background).
* A strong desire to learn and a passion for advertising, research, and analytics.
* Ability to work well with others and work in cross-functional teams.
* Ability to manage and prioritize a number of concurrent tasks.
* Ability to clearly explain research methodology and basic statistics to multiple audiences both verbally and in writing.

desired technical skills

* Experience in SPSS, SAS, R, or other statistical packages.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience/familiarity with syndicated competitive tools such as Kantar, Nielsen Ad Intel, Comscore, Pathmatics, YouGov, etc.
* Experience/familiarity with resources for industry trends such as Mintel, Statista, eMarketer, Iconoculture, etc.
* Familiarity with research methods, college-level statistics, and online surveys.
