Job Description

Department Overview

The Knight Cancer Institute Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center (CEDAR) is assembling an exceptional interdisciplinary team, encouraging strong scientific collaborations, bringing them together in state-of-the-art facilities. Under direct supervision, performs standardized, routine procedures and/or tests, and/or collects, abstracts, enters and/or analyzes data, prepares regulatory documents, and prepares work reports. Some innovation and problem solving. Assists in conduct of one or more phases of a research project. This is a temporary position.

Required Qualifications

Required qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree (4 yr)/No Experience - OR - AA (2 yr) and 2 years of relevant experience - OR - No degree and 4 years of relevant experience
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at one time
* Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills: both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems
* Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) on Window OS. Ability to accurately type 60wpm
* Working knowledge of Oracle
