Job Description

Software Engineer, University New Grad

University, University Grads, Masters & PhDs, New Grad - Engineering, Tech & Design | Menlo Park, California

As a software engineer at Oculus, you'll be architecting and building the core tech that powers the Rift & Gear VR, the broader Oculus platform and tech stack. You'll help deliver key products and systems across multiple disciplines including 3D graphics, device drivers, game engine integration, and platform development. The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with experience in the games/graphics industry with a passion for virtual reality!

Responsibilities

* Help deliver an exceptional virtual reality experience by improving performance and quality of our SDK, platform, App & core systems.
* Increase adoption of the Oculus platform by building great software and tools for content creators.
* Drive the feature roadmap of Oculus products.
* Design and implement the features for the Oculus platform.
* Optimize the experience across different application types.

Minimum Qualification

* Pursuing your BS or MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, graduating in December 2016 or 2017.
* Past software engineering internship or work experience
* Experience with Unity, C#, C++, C, or Java
