Our donor center is in need of a sharp, driven and highly professional Sr. Center Director who will manage and oversee a highly complex donor center. Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Center Director, you will manage and oversee a highly complex donor center. These centers are designated as highly complex based on level of production volume; days and hours of operation; size and complexity of staff; physical location; complexity of the donor base; market conditions; level of competition, and complexity of product lines.   You will oversees donor center staff and operations, including production, quality compliance, finance, HR, and IT. You will act as a liaison with all corporate functions to ensure center compliance and performance.  And you will maintains compliance with SOP, current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP), and regulatory guidelines.

Additional responsibilities of the Sr. Center Director role include:

  • Performs duties on a regular basis to support the Regional Director in special projects and as a backup to the Regional Director when required.
  • Utilizes the donor center and provides staff resources to support company leadership development activities.
  • Leads the donor center in piloting new technology and process changes for the company.
  • Maintains FDA Compliance by ensuring the performance of all center activities are in conjunction with the SOP and other company standards and protocols.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal regulations (e.g. FDA approved Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP) to maintain the highest production standards and ensure facility compliance. 
  • Problem Resolution through keeping your immediate supervisor informed of any irregularities within the center and providing constructive information about process improvements.
  • Minimizes center liability through constant risk management review, including review of Medical Incident Reports, minor incident logs, and driving effective, timely corrective actions.
  • Ensures that product shipments and sample submissions are accurate and performed in accordance with shipping schedules.
  • Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with donors that will stimulate donor retention, referrals, and production growth.
  • Ensures projected production budget is met in both quantity and potency.
  • Ensures cost-effective purchasing of products by maintaining accurate inventory of supplies and goods.
  • Monitor donor retention and implement plans for improvement.
  • Monitor all marketing and advertising and work with appropriate corporate departments to identify necessary changes to marketing and advertising.
  • Trains, develops, and manages all staff in accordance with the Human Resources and company policies and other established management guidelines and regulations.
  • Ensures adherence to all HR policies and procedures through fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
  • Hires, motivates, and evaluates center personnel based on established guidelines.
  • Ensures adequate, trained staff is available to cover the hours of operation in adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Creates an organizational environment that stimulates the morale and productivity of the work force and its leadership.
  • Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
  • Drives initiatives to the management team that contributes to long-term operational excellence.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates of this medical role will ideally offer a bachelor’s degree; however, experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. You must be organized, team-oriented, flexible and comfortable working with a diverse range of people in a very busy medical environment.

Other requirements of the Sr. Center Director role include:

  • 5+ years’ management experience with responsibility for a large staff.
  • Strong communication, organizational, planning skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent stand-up presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office.
  • Required travel will be up to 25% and may include overnight travel.
  • Previous experience interacting with middle management and senior executive levels.
