The Octapharma Leadership Academy is a series of training, including interactive support, over the course of 6 months. As an Octapharma Leadership trainee, you'll be taking part in a program that offers a unique development opportunity where you are trained to be a leader in an Octapharma Donor Center! Because we want you to succeed in your business career, we've created a comprehensive leadership program that will equip you to become an Octapharma Assistant Manager or Quality Supervisor, and from there — depending on your career goals — move into higher levels of management with Octapharma. Job Responsibilities

We are seeking Leadership Trainees to join our Leadership Academy within our growing biopharmaceutical company. Our Leadership Trainees are rotated between regions across the U.S. during the program, and then ultimately placed in an area that best suits the needs of the trainee and the Company at the time of placement. Reporting into the Donor Center Director, you will be responsible for learning all aspects of donor center operations and quality functions by performing assigned duties and on-the-job assignments with the goal of becoming a Center Leader when you finish the program.

Additional responsibilities of the Leadership Trainee role include:

  • Gains knowledge of operational and quality procedures for the donor center
  • Understands donor center processes and company SOPs to ensure adherence
  • Gains knowledge of donor center budget and fiscal control responsibilities including annual budgets and monthly financial analysis
  • Becomes familiar with all marketing and advertising programs
  • Develops a thorough understanding of all donor center tasks for training and assessment of staff performance
  • Participates in all employee-related management functions including hiring, training, coaching, conflict resolution and the administration of human resources policies and initiatives under the guidance of the Center Director and Quality Assurance Supervisor
  • Assists with audits by working with center Quality Assurance and Management team to develop effective corrective action plans to address any areas of deficiency noted prior to and during audits
  • Helps to identify trends and recommends proactive or remedial action to manage business situations

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates of this role will preferably offer a Bachelor’s degree, however, equivalent experience will be considered. You must offer basic organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.

Other requirements of the Leadership Trainee role include:

  • Must be willing and able to relocate anywhere in the continental U.S.
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ supervisory/management work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills extending to a diverse group individuals and demographics
  • Ability to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays and extended shifts on a frequent basis
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Basic computer, typing and mathematical skills
