We are on the hunt for internal candidates to join Project Sapphire and assist in opening our newest Donor Centers! Project Sapphire provides a fantastic opportunity to quickly enhance your current skills and gain visibility across the business.

Leadership – Operations - Partnership

 

We are seeking a New Center Development Team Lead to join the Project Sapphire team! Reporting into the Regional Directors, the New Center Development Team Lead supports departmental activities related to the training of employees in new centers; supports center management vacancies across the new centers, business process redesign, high quality operations and financial impact opportunities; and supports methods, and tools to facilitate understanding of financial, statistical, and productivity information. Supervises training teams including scheduling, coordination of travel, coordinate training efforts to assure timely completion of new employee training.

Additional responsibilities of the New Center Development Team Lead role include:

        In short, you will be a Jack of all trades; coordinating the new center opening activities for Project Sapphire.

        Coordinate and/or provide training to new users and for changes, new applications.

        Perform center leadership and technical oversight. 

        Following established processes to ensure initiation and timely progression of projects, and completion of all required documentation. 

        Participate in managing project and/or center budget. 

        Oversee and manage on-site vendor resources relative to time, assignments, costs, etc.  As needed, escalate related problems and ensure timely and accurate resolution.

        Work in conjunction with Quality department to ensure systems are validated and maintained under change control consistent with Company policies, FDAs, cGMP, and any other regulatory agency requirements. 

        While supporting center vacancies and training, responsibilities include maintaining FDA compliance, problem resolution, product shipment and sample submissions, budget and fiscal control and organizational leadership and effectiveness.

        Research, develop and implement new tools, applications, and other system enhancements as required.  Maintain and support users of operational application systems.

Qualified candidates of this role must offer a strategic mindset with strong skills in organizational, analytical, quality detail orientation, negotiation, decision-making, time management and process improvement. You will demonstrate the ability to train new staff on current/best practices. You will posses excellent team building and leadership skills, including ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff.

Other requirements of the New Center Development Team Lead role include:

        Bachelor’s degree, preferably in management, business, project management or related field is highly preferred. Additional years of project and management experience will be considered in lieu of education.

        Minimum 1+ years experience in the plasma industry

        Supervisory and/or management experience highly preferred.

        Proven track record for leading teams inside a fast paced company.

        Ability to establish effective processes and policies to maintain effective management of projects within a fast paced environment.

        Works well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with demonstrated interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with all levels of management.

        Proficient in all MS Office applications; demonstrated skill set with Excel and Word

        Ability to work autonomously with very limited supervision while making sound decisions

        Must be willing and able to work early mornings, evening hours, weekends and holidays as needed

        Approximately 75% travel is required

o   Travel estimates include 4-6 weeks consecutive travel, coming home on weekends; you will spend time working at your home center between trips for Project Sapphire

        Must keep skill set in area specific training and Designated Trainer modules current
