Title: Part-Time People Operations (HR) Coordinator

Location: Regional (Chicagoland South: Bronzeville, Englewood, Ashburn, Avalon Park, Blue Island, and Chicago Heights)

Compensation: $15/hr

Role Description

The People Operations (HR) Coordinator provides administrative support for day-to-day regional operations. This role will provide recruitment support, as well as perform administrative duties to support leaders and employees while providing direct support to the People Operations (HR) Business Partner in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

* Provide regional recruitment support such as, sourcing, applicant phone screening, and interview setup along with overseeing tracking and database management of these materials.


* Performs data entry and personnel file maintenance within OSH's HRIS.


* Responds to general employee questions particularly regarding pay, benefits, policies, and procedures while escalating to business partner when appropriate.


* Support People Operations (HR) Business partner in a variety of duties such as; unemployment claims, leave of absences, exit interviews, workers compensation, employee engagement initiatives, scheduling and coordinating meetings.


* Other duties, as assigned.



What we're looking for

We're looking for motivated, entry level coordinators with:

* Associate Degree or higher in Human Resources related field with 1 to 2 years of work experience


* Total weekly hours will be approximately 20-25 per week.


* Must have the ability to travel up to 10-20% of the time.


* Excellent interpersonal skills


* Very strong written and verbal communication skills


* Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion


* Ability to deal with ambiguity


* Strong guest service skills


* High level attention to detail and organizational skills


* Cooperative and willing to assist others


* Resilient and adaptable


* US work authorization required
