Job Description:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of a 115/13.8 KV electrical substation; industrial medium and low voltage electrical systems and transformers i.e. power, fire alarm, security, and mechanical systems.
- Installation of conduits, raceways, wiring, circuit breakers and other forms of current limiting devices.
- Working knowledge of digital multi-meters, meggers, variable frequency drives, NFPA 70E and OSHA regulations.
Requirements:
- A Journeyman with ten (10) years of experience in the maintenance, replacement and retrofit of 115KV, 13.8KV equipment, switchgear, breakers, relays and troubleshooting of AC & DC systems.
- Proficiency in electro-mechanical and microprocessor based relay operation, maintenance, testing and repair.
- The ability to work from single line and three (3) line drawings, diagram electrical circuitry, and calculate current loads, KW, MVA, etc.
