About NVIDIA Corporation

Company Description

NVIDIA awakened the world to the power of computer graphics when it invented the GPU in 1999. We have since led the industry with breathtaking graphics on computers ranging from smartphones to game consoles to engineering workstations. Our expertise in GPUs has led to breakthroughs in parallel processing, empowering scientists with access to ultra-efficient supercomputers.

Company History

Founded in 1993, NVIDIA has quickly become the worldwide leader in graphics processors and media communications devices. In fact, NVIDIA was the first 3D graphics semiconductor company to deliver a complete top-to-bottom family of 3D solutions.

Our mission is simple: Build a great company and be the most important 3D graphics company in the world.

Led by our co-founders — Jen-Hsun Huang (President and CEO), Curtis Priem (Chief Technical Officer) and Chris Malachowsky (VP of Hardware Engineering) — our employees are committed to developing innovative technologies that deliver stunning multimedia experiences. And they're doing it around the world, at NVIDIA offices located in the United States (AZ, CA, MA, NC, TX, and WA) as well as in England, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan.

Wherever the location, NVIDIA makes a significant investment in its people — in addition to its methodologies, technology and brand — to ensure the Company continues to deliver to its customers a unique competitive advantage.

What's this commitment and investment mean in our everyday working lives? Quite simply, it means that NVIDIA offers a challenging, high-energy and rewarding work experience.

To support NVIDIA's employees, the HR team is committed to delivering programs and services to the nth degree. That means you can be sure that working at NVIDIA just may be the greatest experience in your professional life.

Our commitment also extends beyond the NVIDIA workplace to the communities in which we work and live. Just as the Company strives to maintain its leadership position in the graphics world, it is also committed to making a lasting and positive impact in the lives of the people in our community.

Through our corporate donations and fundraising program, we currently support such organizations as the American Red Cross, the Second Harvest Food Bank, the Humane Society, and other non-profit organizations.

The passionate drive that fuels our company is most powerfully reflected back from our users. The devotion to our brand is truly rare and is expressed in deeply personal ways -- including artwork, tattoos and even in naming their children “NVIDIA”.

Employment Culture

Passionate About Graphics
At NVIDIA we're continually looking for the elite few who will shape the future of the visual computing industry...those who play hard, work smart, and always strive to win. As the market rocks and rolls NVIDIA stays focused on its number one objective: to continue to build one of the most influential technology companies in the world. It is this clear goal, coupled with passion, determination, and the most brilliant minds in the industry, that shape the employee culture and fuels our insatiable quest for winning.

Investing In Our Future
We invest heavily in research, cutting-edge technologies, industry and academic partnerships, and most of all, our people. Through external programs such as the NVIDIA Fellowship Program, NVIDIA U, and subsidies for further education, as well as internal training courses, company events, and team building activities, we build a competitive advantage through continuous education.

We Work Hard, We Play Hard
Spend one day at NVIDIA and you're guaranteed to cross paths with some of the most brilliant minds in the graphics industry. Spend five minutes with one of these people and you'll realize that our interests reach far beyond pixels and algorithms. We enjoy spending time with our colleagues, which facilitates teamwork, both during and after work. You may see the same people in your noon meeting that you'll see on the softball field in the evening, and events like "Summertime Cinema" and those that are community-serviced based draw a large crowd. It's easy to see that we love what we do, because we do what we love.

Hiring Information

NVIDIA thrives on competition, and we are hiring exceptional engineers who are ready to rise to the challenge, as we race neck and neck to the top of the graphics world. As the market and industry rocks and rolls, the people of NVIDIA stay focused on their number one objective: to continue to build one of the most influential technology companies in the world. It is this clear goal, coupled with passion, determination, and the most brilliant minds in the industry, that shape our employee culture and fuels our insatiable quest for winning.

If your desire is to be part of a team that will accept nothing but victory, NVIDIA would like to hear from you. We're looking for a special few who know how to raise the competitive stakes and emerge on top.

It's no secret that NVIDIA employees work hard developing the world's best 3D technology. In turn, NVIDIA works hard to deliver a comprehensive benefits package. We provide not only the basics - health care coverage, life and disability protection, pre-tax savings opportunities, etc. -- but we also offer many "extras" that you may not find at other employers. What really sets the NVIDIA Benefits Program apart is our willingness to listen to employee suggestions, try new things, and go above and beyond the “norm” to see how we can best support our employees (and their family members) as they strive to balance their personal and professional lives.
