The Role: MTS Developer - New Grad

The MTS Developer-New Grad position is an aggregate position for all back-end systems roles including (but not limited to) working on the core data path, infrastructure and platform/hardware deployment, data protection and replication, big data analytics processing platform, manageability software, and analytics platform. Responsibilities:

* Architect, design and develop software for the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform.
* Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems, and design innovative solutions for customer requirements.
* Work closely with development, test, documentation and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

* Love of programming and rock-solid skills in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Python, or Go
* Extensive knowledge of or experience with Linux or Windows.
* Completed courses or research in the areas of operating systems, files systems, big data, machine learning, compilers, algorithms and data structures, or cloud computing
* Familiarity with OS internals, concepts of distributed data management, and design/implementation tradeoffs in building clustered, high-performance, fault-tolerant, secure distributed systems software
* Knowledge of or experience with Hadoop, MapReduce, Cassandra, Zookeeper, or other large-scale distributed systems is preferred.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field
