Job Description:

Provide audit services on financial, operational, and information system internal audit assignments. Assist with performing audit tests to assess the effectiveness of key controls supporting the reliability of financial reporting assertions and organizational operations. Actively participates in the planning and testing of SOX processes and controls that ensure the safeguarding of corporate assets and the reliability and accuracy of financial data. Additionally, this individual will perform various administrative procedures applicable to maintaining and conducting department operations and activities; and will be expected to practice all organizational, ethical, and applicable professional standards, including compliance with The IIA's International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

Understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and theories, and ability to analyze their application in the Company's accounting records. A high degree of initiative and creativity is required since each audit test requires a different approach. Microsoft experience preferred with proficiency in Word and Excel. Candidate must have initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and well-developed organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills needed to interact with internal and external contacts. Strong understanding of information system processes and controls a plus.


Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, junior level or above required. Candidates currently pursuing a Graduate degree in Accounting are preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed courses in Audit, Intermediate Accounting, and Accounting Information Systems. Overall GPA of 3.0 or above is required.
