Responsibilities

NRP Investments, LLC is currently seeking an INVESTMENT ANALYST in Cleveland, Ohio.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Vice President of Finance, the Investment Analyst will evaluate the profitability & financial feasibly of affordable and market rate projects throughout the development and closing process.

Essential Functions Statement(s):- Responsible for developing financial models, financial statement analysis, decision modeling, reporting and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives- Review various state LIHTC submission requirements to collaborate with various internal teams to create a cohesive project submission - Evaluate divergent financial structures for appropriateness and profit maximization- Prepare underwriting packages for prospective projects for presentation to Investment Committees- Serve as a liaison with developers, equity partners, third party owners and lenders- Analyze actual project results to develop more accurate forecasting- Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement- Manage the financial modeling from inception through the financial closing

Qualifications

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required

Experience: 0-2 years of analyst experience in financing modeling debt or equity market and financing of acquisition and/or product repositioning (affordable housing experience a plus)

Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel
