Job Description Position Purpose:
Ensure material availability for production; optimize material inventories; continuously improve Supply Chain processes that supports 24/7 operations.


* Forecast, plan, and manage in-coming supply chain processes
* Forecast material requirements in order to meet production plans and product mix for aseptic and finished production lines
* Plan and procure materials for production to ensure uninterrupted operation
* Adapt quickly to changing demands associated with market dynamics
* Monitor and track deliveries of materials and inventories to ensure the right materials are available at the right time to meet production plans
* Manage change order activities relating to creating and obsoleting of production materials with internal stakeholders and suppliers
* Optimize use of materials by monitoring and tracking expiration to minimize scrap and ensure sufficient inventories are available for production
* Update and ensure master data accuracy for materials to ensure total supply chain operates smoothly and accurately
* Resolve pricing, quality , and delivery issues with suppliers
* Resolve issues relating to receipts of order discrepancies
* Manage suppliers to achieve planned outcomes based on business needs, and drive on-going improvement in supplier performance
* Represent Clayton on global and local project teams for changes that affect supply chain processes
* Coordinate sourcing activities with StSo in Denmark for assigned commodities
* Develop reporting tools and metrics as needed to monitor the process
* Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
* Communicate supply issues effectively and with urgency with production, quality, and other stakeholders to minimize disruptions
* Maintain and develop department procedures according to cGMPs
* Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education:
BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field

3 or more years of experience in planning /purchasing or related field; or combination of relevant education and experience

Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good presentation skills
* Computer skills including experience with Excel and electronic Material Management systems
* Familiarity with SAP
* Proven process improvement and problem solving skills
* Willing to learn LEAN and Flow concepts and skills

Able to develop and manage action plans to achieve targets/forecasting for long-term material planning

Physical Requirements:
The majority of time will be in a normal work environment. However, flexibility is required to work the necessary hours to meet deadlines and targets supporting 24/7 operations.

Other Requirements:
Eligible for passport; Some travel overseas required
Service attitude: Demonstrates a "How can I help you today!" attitude
