Novant Health is seeking an Intern to provide support through an educational experience to the administrative team via projects, active participation in meetings, and management of rotation assignments, under the direction of the preceptor within a one-year period, the length of the fellowship. Participates in rotations to gain exposure to different functions within the hospital. Coordinates the Presbyterian Hospital Medical Explorers Program. #JoinTeamAubergine #NovantHealth. * Education: Active enrollment in an ACPE accredited School or College of Pharmacy required. Completion of 2nd year curriculum at an accredited school/college of pharmacy required. Minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale on pharmacy school coursework required. Able to complete 400 hours during the summer (typically May-July) and availability to fulfill a potential two year commitment if offered.
* Experience: Hospital or community pharmacy experience preferred. Pharmacy Technician (CPht) Certification and/or NCBOP Registration preferred.
* Additional skills required: Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations as needed; meet physical examination standards and requirements. Demonstrates customer service skills dealing with senior leaders, personnel, physicians and visitors. Expresses information in clear, concise, organized manner. Demonstrates problem solving process in making business decisions. Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
