Job Description

Performance Test Engineer

Who you are…

You're passionate about Quality Assurance and see it as an integral piece in the SDLC. Instead of just focusing on locating the bugs of an application, you look at the entire workflow for ways to increase performance.

Testing complex applications can be daunting, so you look to speed up the QA process by automating what you can. You're proficient with Java or Python, and you've worked with either JMeter or SOASTA in a past role.

You're highly organized and manage your time well. You prefer to work in a collaborative team setting over being a solo contributor. If this sounds like a environment you'd like to work in, let us know!

Must haves…

* Experience creating workflows
* Experience developing scripts in either JMeter or SOASTA
* Scripting experience with Java or Python
* Experience with SQL
* Previous experience testing web applications

Traits for Success…

* Needs to be comfortable working in a collaborative environment
* Good communication skills
* Able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to multi-task efficiently

Education and Experience…

* 2-4 years as a Performance Engineer
* Minimum B.S. degree in computer science or a related field; or equivalent work experience and/or education in lieu of a degree
