Job Description

Join an agile software development team designing and building advanced, state-of-the-art, manned aircraft mission planning software. Apply engineering principles and object-oriented software design, coding, integration and test methodology in an agile software development environment. Participate in all phases of software development from use case and requirements development through design, code and unit test to integration and test.

The primary application development language is Microsoft C# and the software engineer will be using other technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, scripting languages, third party encryption application programming interfaces and numerous development tools to enhance the software development process.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution

- GPA of 3.2 or better

- Candidates will have taken Computer Science classes in C and/or C#

- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and roles within each phase

- Demonstrated understanding of software design principles (e.g. software design patterns)

- Demonstrated success working individually or as part of a team requiring little supervision

US Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Internship experience is a plus

- Experience with VisualStudio development environment and C#/C

- Coursework/experience in algorithms and optimization
