Job Description

NoNorthrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Java Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Irving, TX. Where Technology and Teamwork come together... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Information Systems FAA NAS Adaptation Services Environment (NASE) program. The NASE system fulfills a critical need in support of the NAS operational environment. The NASE architecture provides a scalable and extensible framework that facilitates centralized access to essential aeronautical and adaptation(as-adapted) data currently distributed across numerous legacy and emerging Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems. This environment provides secure Enterprise access to critical aeronautical and adaptation assets and allows the FAA to organize its functions as services rather than as static applications.

Roles and responsibilities:
-Building and coding applications and/or modules using JAVA.
-Providing patches and upgrades to existing systems. May design graphical user interfaces to meet the specific needs of users.
-Preparing operating instructions, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
