Job Description

As a business development intern with us, you will:

* Work with domestic, international and aftermarket service business development teams to support strategic business pursuits.


* Maintain the business development CRM database for all active guns new business opportunities and pursuits.


* Assist with coordination of customer visits, internal meetings and web-based conferences in support of business development.


* Perform research activities in support of new business development, capture strategy, proposal development and competitor information.


* Support live-fire demonstrations efforts as directed by the Guns Business Development Director


* Support marketing activities of export licensing, functional coordination, and shipment of portfolio products


* Assist with preparation of pursuit briefings in support of business acquisition and trade shows.



Performs variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

* Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree


* Pursing a major in Engineering or Business related field


* Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher


* Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills


* Self-motivated, willing to learn and interested in working uncertain and changing environment


* US citizenship required



Preferred Qualifications:

* Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher


* Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)


* Experience in developing and delivering presentations


* Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on projects


* Experience or Study of International Business


* Oral and/or written Foreign Language skill
