Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an High School Technical Intern to join our growing team of qualified, diverse individuals in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The selected candidate will become part of a Northrop Grumman team of professionals who are actively designing and developing and maintaining equipment, components, devises, or systems. The program sustains the embedded flight software and associated software tools for the KC-135 and RC-135 Aircraft.

Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. The intern will support the technical staff on the aircraft performance system projects. Duties will include auditing engineering documents, running test procedures, and other activities as directed by the technical staff.

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

* Be enrolled full-time and pursuing a high school degree.


* Participating in the Mid-Del School Work Study Program


* Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile).


* Be involved and interested in STEM classes, extracurricular, clubs, etc.


* Be available to work an abbreviated schedule on-site in Oklahoma City during the 2019/2020 academic year through a work study program.


* Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).



Preferred Qualifications:

* Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.


* Candidates interested in pursuing Engineering undergrad degrees in college and pursuing a career in Engineering.


* Good presentation and writing/communication skills.


* Self-motivated, willing to learn and interested in working in a team environment.
