Job Description

With guidance performs production and flight line testing and maintenance. With supervision repairs, modifies, installs, and tests mechanical systems. Performs duties / functions of test personnel in area(s) of assignment.

Must be able to acquire the skills necessary for installing, removing, maintaining, repairing critical components / systems working with engineering and senior technicians.

With direct supervision will perform testing, rework and repair in various fields of specialization. With supervision will use electronic data, blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, technical orders, engineering orders, schematics, block diagrams and other technical documents on mechanical, hydraulics, power plant, and/or structures.

Assists in construction, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining various types of complex equipment, components, devices or systems.

Notifies lead personnel or supervision of any / all malfunctions, defects and damages to equipment, material and product. Position will require domestic travel.

Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.

Basic Qualifications:

* High School plus 1 yr. related experience or AA/AS Degree or Technical Certificate with no experience
* Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access (SAP).
* Must be able to lift 30lbs
* Basic computer proficiency (MS, Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Military aviation experience and/or AA/ 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 years of related experience.
* Active Secret clearance with investigation closeout within the last 3 years.
