The Critical Infrastructure and Force Protection (CI&FP) seeks a Software Engineer to join our software development team in San Diego. CI&FP organization develops world class, mission-critical applications that provide Situational Awareness and enhanced collaboration. Our enterprise applications allow effective communication and collaboration across the teams to manage various life threatening and emerging events.
Basic Qualifications: Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters.
BS in Software Engineering/Computer Science with minimum 2 years of experience required
Candidate must be familiar with and will contribute to all phases of the software lifecycle and perform tasks involving design, prototyping, implementation, debugging, test, documentation, and support.
Candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment and a rapid development cycle.
US citizenship required.
New grad, regarless of age, with a Masters degree
Candidate should have experience writing production-quality code and be familiar with software design patterns and algorithms.
Good written and verbal communication skills are also important as creation of reports and software design briefings may be required tasks.
