Job Description

SUMMARY: Manages large scale and complex information technology solutions across a wide variety of software and hardware platforms. Applies knowledge and experience in the design of technology solutions: interfacing with the data center team, application analysts, and various business units. Work directly with customers and software analysts in the design, implementation, and testing of designed solutions. Maintains operational support responsibility for back-end software and critical hardware systems for applications of all types including financial and clinical systems such as revenue cycle management, enterprise resource planning, various electronic medical record products, PACS & Cardiology PACS, etc.

EXPERIENCE: 5-7 yrs working with IT infrastructure technologies: storage, networking, servers and server operating systems, virtualization, database administration, etc. 2 yrs application support working directly with end-user business units, 2 yrs of customer service. Demonstrated experience in service design in any IT discipline.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Design, implementation, and maintenance of:Windows & Linux server environments; Role-based management systems (AD,LDAP,other); DAS/NAS/CAS storage and backups solutions; Campus LAN, data center networking, & SAN; Database administration and management; ITIL Service Design.
