Job Description

Meritas Health is looking for an experienced LPN or RN to work as an Occupational Nurse at our client's manufacturing plant in Riverside, MO. Successful candidates will be able to competently and efficiently assess and treat any workplace injuries that may occur. This position will collaborate with the plant safety supervisor and staff to follow client protocols with OSHA reporting, completing first reports of injury and may participate in accident investigations. Will also coordinate return to duty status and appropriate job placement with plant supervisors.  Other duties will include an onsite flu vaccine clinic and dispensing oral meds as directed by a physician.

This position requires an individual who can work independently and determine when an injured worker needs to be referred to a clinic/ER for follow up treatment.  Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent customer service skills, are a must as the Onsite Nurse will collaborate with a number of individuals.  Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience working in Occupational Medicine, current BCLS certification, and a valid MO nursing license.
