Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Oversee the day-to-day operation of a 5 or less physician clinic, focusing on physician relationships, staff relations, customer service, and financial management.
1. Education Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
2. Licensure:  
3. Experience: 5 years of experience in physician’s office setting
4. Certifications:  
5. Special Skills: Financial management skills, focused on cost containment, reimbursement, and collection practices.
6. Other: Basic office skills, billing and EMR computer systems
JOB SPECIFIC STANDARDS: All responsibilities and standards shall be performed according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines for Meritas.
Ensures clinic meets operational, revenue cycle, quality and financial benchmarks.
Ensures clinic meets strategic initiatives and improves clinic’s fiscal management.
Demonstrates human resource management through effective supervision, recruitment, retention, performance and compliance with Meritas Policies and Procedures, employment laws and regulatory standards.
Ensures clinic has effective and efficient clinical operations to include patient flow patterns to maximize physician schedules, referral management process, patient communication and scheduling to foster a customer service focus and culture.
Ensures good provider and physician relationships promoting group culture and teamwork.
Demonstrates professionalism by articulating and demonstrating professional behavior, accepting responsibility and accountability for actions, adhering to policies and procedures, demonstrating leadership and supporting Meritas initiatives.
